The Higher University Director leads the adult ministry and discipleship arm of Higher Dimension Church. This role provides strategic oversight of assimilation, discipleship, leadership development, and adult ministry initiatives, ensuring new and existing members grow spiritually, connect in community, and mature as followers of Christ.
This leader builds and sustains a thriving culture of engagement, spiritual formation, and leadership multiplication across all campuses.
Recruit, onboard, mobilize, and empower core team members
Lead Higher University department meetings and initiatives
Build strong community through team development, meetings, and outings
Encourage staff spiritual growth and personal development
Oversee the church’s assimilation process for new attendees
Manage new member and connection classes
Lead and expand Life/Connect Groups participation
Identify, train, and equip Connect Group leaders
Approve and guide curriculum for adult discipleship groups
Oversee leadership development and discipleship training
Equip disciples to serve, give generously, and share the Gospel
Collaborate with volunteer leaders for adult ministries (men’s, women’s, marriage groups, etc.)
Ensure sound doctrine across all adult teaching environments
Teach in small, medium, and large group settings
Oversee funerals and memorial services coordination
Oversee hospital visits, member care, and follow-up
Lead prayer team coordination across campuses
Provide coverage for special events (funerals, conferences, outreach initiatives, team nights)
Proven experience in church leadership, discipleship, or ministry development
Strong understanding of assimilation and leadership development strategies
Excellent teaching, communication, and team-building skills
Ability to develop and execute strategic ministry plans
Commitment to sound doctrine and spiritual mentorship
Highly organized and able to manage multiple initiatives
Passionate about discipleship and spiritual growth
Thrives in leadership, delegation, and organization
Strong communicator with resilience under pressure
Exceptionally organized and mission-driven
Able to inspire and motivate others to serve
Office Hours: Tuesday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Meetings:
Tuesday All-Staff Meeting (10:00–11:00 AM)
Directors Meeting (11:15 AM–12:15 PM)
Higher University Department Meetings (as scheduled)
